The Magic School Bus: The Leaf Ride
It's autumn, and the class is curious about why leaves change color and fall from the trees. Ms. Frizzle takes them on a "leafy" journey where the students shrink down to travel inside a leaf. They learn about the important work leaves do for trees, including how they make food using sunlight (photosynthesis) and why they eventually turn brilliant colors and drop to the ground.
Age Category: 7-9 Lower (The Level 2 reader format is perfect for primary students, providing clear explanations of botanical concepts through an easy-to-read narrative).
